Thread: Yet Another Idea on FRS xp (If the FRS ever comes back)

Ok I was just talking to my friend (RL) about the FRS system and sort of came up with this.

First we talking about what we hoped we WOULDN’T see in the new FRS and these where:

1.Not Farmable (Very Important) – No fight clubs, no MBH’s “Selling” deaths and no person with multiple BH accounts at the top of the FRS
2.Not Perma Overt (Not SO Important) – I was a perma overt knight and though it added spice at the start it became a bit annoying after a while. I did not realise just by how much until it was removed and I started having more fun.

So the basic idea runs like this.

At the start of a time period (I’m going by 1 week in this example) the Jedi knight would journey to their enclave.
They would use a terminal to select a “mission/quest” which would be placed in the quest journal.
These missions would break down into 2 Categories

PvE
This would be basically like the Knight Trails i.e.
Kill 10 Peko Peko Albo’s – 5 FRS xp per Day
Kill 10 Canyon Krayt Dragons – 10 FRS xp per Day
Kill 10 Ancient Krayt Dragons – 20 FRS xp per Day

PvP
Kill 5 Special Forces – 50 FRS xp per day
Kill 10 Special Forces – 100 FRS xp Per Day
Kill 20 Special Forces – 200 FRS xp Per Day
(For these you would have to earn PvP rating AND get the deathblow for it to count)

(These are just examples and the amount of FRS xp is just made up and would need more thought)

The Jedi Knight WOULD NOT RECIVE ANY FRS XP UNTIL THE QUEST WAS COMPLETE. Also the quest would remain in the Knights journal with a “Completed” tag next to it, only disappearing when the week is up.

So if they took the easiest PvE mission (in this example) and completed it on the first day they would receive 5 FRS xp for every day after that for the duration of the week ( 6 days @ 5 FRS per day = 30 FRS xp). (Updated ever 24 hours after the quest was complete)

If they decide to try something more risky and take the Hardest PvP Mission (in this example) and complete it on the 5th day they will receive 200 FRS xp every day for the duration of that week (2 days @ 200 FRS per day = 400 FRS xp). (Updated ever 24 hours after the quest was complete)

Once the week was complete the Knight would then have to travel back to the enclave and take another mission/quest.
ONLY ONE MISSION/QUEST MAY BE TAKEN DURING THE ONE WEEK PERIOD.

As for BH’s and Knights instead of a Knight loosing Jedi XP, death from a BH would cause the Knight to not be able to accept a quest until the next “XP” period. Also if a knight has a quest completed or other wise, death from a BH would cause it to be lost.

Well that’s basically it, sorry if it’s a bit incoherent as I am rushing it on during work.

Let me know what you guys think.

I like the idea of taking gated missions to get some FRS XP.

The examples you posted are nice, but of course should be expanded to other high end PvE stuff, like the DeathWatch Overlord, Acklay, Axva Min, Kiin Dray and so on.

Also it might be an Idea to have the PvE stuff random instead of being able to choose. I see positives on both sides of that.

I would also like to see where you can take 1 PvE mission, and 1 PvP mission per week with numbers of course adjusted to make it balanced.

This should be combined with other aspects of FRS I would like to see. It should by no means a replacement but an addition.
