Thread: what is the weapon attack speed cap?
Not sure why in Jedi forums for regular weapons?
However each of the regular weapons have a different speed cap. Check the WS forums for the list of caps.
because jedi tend to know alot more about the whole game in general.. and no one is really ever on the swordsman forums
if anyone could tell me what the melee weapon attack speed caps at .. that would be great thanks

I am not sure if it is valid, but with casual testing it appeared to be around 1.3. After that the limiting factor was the attack timers themselves. I am not sure if you can accurately test it however, as the combat log does not support fractions of a second, and lag causes the attack timers animations to vary. ( I used frame by frame anaylsis with a fraps and a video editing tool ).
I could not see a descernable difference after 1.3x in either the timer animations or the amount of attacks over time.

it is not just melee weapons, each individual weapon has it's own crafted stat cap in each stat.
If you are asking for base speed caps go to the weaponsmith forums. If you are asking about modified speed, then there really is no way to test it right now because of the speed bugs and peopl attacking at base speed instead of modified speed.
