The reason seems to be you wont be able to keep your badges when doing character transfer. And as a jedi you need certain badges to avoid messing up your character.

A jedi without certain badges, like the theme parks could lead to you wont have access to the village. and then you might loose your 6 full and complete FS branches. Which again could lead to you loosing jedi etc. Not to mention, if you transfer a jedi, you also have to transfer your jedi unlock.

The Irony is that everyone who have played for a while,usually are Force Sensitive, and as such not elligeble for character transfer. And all they who are not FS are usually new players who could easy swap server by deleting their origial toon, without loosing too much..

I think maybe SOE should put more work into it. Its a paid service too, so SOE would have nothing to loose on it I think. But maybe its too difficult.

because think about it. you transfer a regularcharacter you blow so much money and you find out it sucks there as much as your last sever you lose that money and you quit.

you transfer a jedi you realise it sucks you sell the account get your money back and then some

or if your really desperate for a jedi on another server you blow alot of money and time on grinding.

umm alot of pre 9 jedi had no badges and they were fine same thing with holo grinders who didnt get all 6 unlocks.

yep, they should let jedi xfer too.

im a pre publish 9 jedi and i have 0 badges out side the 2 masteries i was gevine for transfuring into the new system badges have nothing to do with FS outside unloking it now

The reason i see is that Jedi in all our special glory (lmao) are prone to EBAY.......

So you sell an account on ebay and the new owner switches server for an easy ride..........

Think about it, if i was lame and bought a jedi off ebay i would do this
