Thread: Color crystals with negative force modifiers

Does anybody remember when publish 9 was on TC and the color crystals were being tuned with force cost modifiers? It was possible to have sabers with 0 (or even negative!) force costs hehe ahhh the good old days.
Anyways, thinking about that got me thinking that it would be kind of cool if the special color crystals (bane's heart, sunrider's destiny and any future ones that come out) had a force cost modifier (maybe a maximum of -3, but definitely nothing like -9), this would allow people to have a force cost saber of 6 or 7 with all -9 pearls/crystals, which would leave more force for things like healing, running, etc etc.
What do you think?

Maybe, although forcecost is calculated in a slightly different way now, if I understand correctly? I don't think it would really make enough difference to be noticable at only -3.
