Ok I read a very well written way of explaining why those that are not jedi but are getting a second slot free do not deserve it and why we jedi are so pissed. Some of this can pertain to non jedi as well.

Ok, It is not that you do not deserve jedi or the second slot, it is that you made a choice to not get it. Its not that we are better then non jedi or the respec jedi, its that there was something to be had and we went and got it. We made the choice to get it, we wanted the reward for the long grind so we did it. Some either did not want to do the grind or did not want the reward, jedi and second slot. Or there are some that are either too busy to spend a lot of time grinding OR lets be real, there are some that are just lazy.

Now I want you to think of this. We elder jedi, that made the choice to grind our butts off to get the reward that was available to everyone are NOT getting anything more then the person that didnt want to grind excpet a few minor items and a title. When you look at the reward for the grind, to most the reward fit the grind, jedi and a second slot. When this NGE hits, you must see that pretty much everything we did will be out the window. We might as well not have done it at all. I dont like the new system, I like diversity and stacking. I dont want to be a cookie cutout and most "EXISTING" jedi dont either. But maybe if they made the elder ALREADY EXISTING JEDI a bit mroe of an Alpha class then maybe it would not be so bad in NGE. To us, its all the hard work for nothing and ALSO being thrust into a new system we dont like. Other profs have SOME of the same arguements as we do about NGE but we have more, and are valid in our disgust.

If you are a customer, you should be heard and responded to. The articles I keep reading about the powers that be are awfull. They just stand there and lie. Sorry SOE, the majority of the community is NOT with your NGE, I have visited ALL the profession forums. So if we are the customer, and if we pay their salary, and if they choose to ignore us, then why are we still here? They provide a service, we pay for it, we dont like it? We take our business elsewhere unless they CHANGE IT!!!! Its so simple.

This whole argument works for other professions as well. How many Bounty Hunters like being a BH with either rifleman, SL, pistoleer, carbineer, etc? And how many like the depthness of the professions, the uber weapons you can have made, the skill attatchments, the different ways you come up with to do combat? its all gone with NGE. If we wanted a FPS we would not have purchased SWG in the first place. If we didnt want diversity in professions we would not have purchased SWG. While we "would" appreciate SOE's efforts on trying to improve the game, it is very hard to when we feel like your ignoring us and we are just bashing our heads against a wall.
