Thread: Banked xp gone...another nice slap in the face.

There are two types of jedi, the first goes public, gets killed alot, looses all kinds of xp, goes in the hole for negative xp....and then theirs the guys who played the game by staying hidden, amased xp, didnt show off, and avoided bh or at least held their own with them and played the game jedi was meant to be played...and what does soe do...reward the guys who the players complained about the most while punished the guys who played the game the way it was supposed to be played....can anyone answer this question? If you had banked xp did it help you after the conversion...if you had negative xp did it hurt you?
since xp doesnt show as banked did the positive or negative xp going into the conversion affect your standings toward the next level?

You're taking one for the team. A lot of old jedi have millions in negative xp which is getting wiped out. And some of it is more then thefour million cap.......
Oh, that's me! I would like to thank all the jedi with the positive xp that are taking the shaft for me and only me. Because I'm worth it.

Hehe no kidding. I have 4.3 million xp banked. I was thinking about retemplating after patch 24, until I found out about this. I guess it's just time to craft some 3rd gen's and experiment on damage.

Can't they reset the minusXP while leaving the positive XP alone??
I spent many many hours capping my XP

While I do support the bad on banked xp the comment on the way ajedi is supposed to be played was rather arrogant. This is a role play game and we are given freedom to do as we wish with our toons. If someone wants to take theri jedi and wear pink hot pants while killing low cl npc's in Dantoine MO and having BH line up to kill him all day, that is his or her choice. As far as the xp in concerned its not so much they are whiping banked xp out its that they have changed ALL xp to combat. Which I do think is dumb and a pain to jedi that may be tryign to grind to prepare to just train cl 80 to cl 90 when nge comes out, but that is why they are doing it, they want us to do the quests and not be able to just respec the whole way. And I hate that too lol
