A question to the Jedi community. Would you support an opt in system for player bounties? You could opt in and out as many times as you'd like but to prevent abuse from either side it would be a 48 hour timer before changes take effect either way.

We really needed to give people the experience of being Han Solo or Luke Skywalker rather than being Uncle Owen, the moisture farmer. We wanted more instant gratification: kill, get treasure, repeat. We needed to give people more of an option to be part of what they have seen in the movies rather than something they had created themselves."

Only reason I don't like being hunted is because every BH is the "Alpha Class" MBH/MCM build and a fight with one of those takes at least 15 min if they are any good, and the greatones can take up to an hour and a half, if you think that is fun...You're crazy.

If Jedi had not been nerfed to below the regular professions and regularhealing, speeddebuffs, 75% AB slice, 8000 energy resist armoradded and at the disposal of regular profs, even after weweren't that great anymore, basically if the BH community hadn'tcried for nerfs that threw the Jedi prof to the ground then stomped us with a fat boot; I would've never minded the BH system in the first place. Even ifBH and Jedi had eventually beenmade equal.

But as it stands I don't like theMBHs/MCMs having all the perks including first stike especially wheneven if I got first strike *I* wouldstill be the underdog.l

No forced PvP is going to be a good thing, and all classes will be balanced with strenghs and weaknesses. It seems SoE listened to me afterall when in countless posts I said being able to pick and choose your professions and have the best of both worlds will NEVER be balanced. You have to lock people in and each profession has to have an obvious strength and an obvious weakness.

This wouldnt work with the new system, unless the BH would be red to the jedi before an attack.

In the new system, it would make a lot more sense to make a consensual bounty systems with smuggler/spy bounties.

Such as, special spy/smuggler missions that give nice reward but issue a bounty on you if you lose/are discovered. IF the BH kills you, you lost the mission reward (or are unable to take "special missions" for x time). The apyout shouldn't bee too high or people would find a way to exploit it..

If it's consensual and the smuggler spy has something to gain out of it, it might work.

It would be entirely consensual and no one get first strike. It will be a matter of detecting your enemy before he detects you. Not only Jedi but any prof. who wishes to do so could opt in.Even roleplayes who normally don't PvP could try it from time to time. And remember you can opt out at any time which means that nobody not Jed nor any other prof can really complain.

I'd support an opt in system, if there was a reward for beathing the BH.
