Yes they supposedly either unlock skills for you or give u a certain type of buff.

I didn't try clicking on my holocron on Corbantis but when I examined it there was no description of it doing anything. Will try it tonight.

check the stickie from MsNil.

The standard blue/red holos that currently restore force are converting to nothing. When you read them, nothing happens.

I used a holo on TC-Corb & it gave me the you feel your force replenish message. Of course this does nothing.

for people who have collected these, the new cube you got on mustafar would be a great place to combine the old holo's into new skills. at least let some of our hard work come through to the new game.
