yeah..same here. infact he can't even get out the door for all the Mcsnakbar wrapers and mando wine bottles that I jsut chuck up against the door...infact..I am soo pale from being indoors, I am practilly a blue glowy..it sucks

I have been sort of out of the loop untill most recently, trying to get back up to speed on all the changes that are in BT or going to be made live. Basically, as I see it, jedi are going to be in a world of hurt, but we will persever. That is, except for those of us who are MP. I do not PvP, and mostly I just run around and kill critters or what ever, but it seems to me that there area few things wrong with the newest propisitions to the Jedi build, and I was wondering what you all thought of it.

Essentally there are two basic combat builds avalible in SWG. Ranged and Melee. Ranged beingrifles/pistols/carbins adn other elite proffs utilizing those builds and Melee being swords/fencer/TK/pikes with there corisponding elite proffs.

The same can be said for JEDI. there are Melee jedi-loosely catorgorized as those who use sabers and Ranged-loosely catogorized as Force power ussers. Essetially it is impossible to be full templated and use only two types of Jedi skills/masteries: meaning most of us are dabblers. well after readding the posts that pertain to my chosen build, it seems to me that not only are Jedi getting the nurf bat-though not directly aimed at us, we are also not being allowed to play within the strictures of our chosen proffs. It is virtually impossible for a jedi these days to be simply a DOC or the ubiquitise TANK. althougth there are those builds. There are two combat proffesions, one is, i think you will mostly agree, far superrior to the other. that being MASTER SABERS OVER MASTER POWERS. if you wantto be consistant with your damadge out put, and be able to keep your self from getting killed in the first 30secs of any encounter, you simply must go sabers. I love powers, but of all my skills, only three do any real damadge, and one of them is an area attack. all three of my heavy ( about 1000+dam) hiting attacks, if they stick/hit, have fairly long timers. the fact that they domoredamadge than many saber people is negated by the fact that a saber can hit at least three-six times in the time it takes me to exicute one force electric attack( not taking in to accoutn tapes or mods). the damadge out put of a MP jedi is pathetic. not to mention of the othe 6 attacks that I have, four are area or cones, and happen to be the most damadge dealing, out side of choke, which is a deterent to use, as I will likely agro EVERY living thing in a 20-60meter radius.

I am wondering why it is, that as the JEDI ranged proff, we are limited to a max( at least for me) range of 35m for most of my attacks, where asthe alpha elite prof for ranged gets between50-85m ( depending on build-cybernetics) how can I possibly keep up, damadge wise, with a rifle/bh if I have to be within 35 meters to even hit him, plus have a 30-60sec timer on the only attacks I can use, with out geting agroed by every living beast inthe area? I do not mean to whine, becouse as many people say, I knew what I was getting into..I did not actually know how bad i would be gimping my self..though I will never give up powers...but I think its not only unrealisitic but incredbully unfair to those who have spent the time=MONEY, to get to a point where I am happy, only to find out that I will be gimped even more becouse I can not even count on a viable alpha strike ( cloak/choke/de-cloak) snare/root kite electrocute ..blah blah blah. It seems that now, when I try to cloak, I will not be able to move at a rate that is viable, my attacks suck donkey sac, since i have no skills invested in sabers,and pearls drop as fast as amber hardens, I can't run away, since I have been electrolited to the point I need pocari-sweat introviensly applied, and to top that all off, when I try todefend myself, I agro four lairs of plickets that arn't too happy to see me, while the BH/CM/? sits back, opens frosty bottle of Mando wine, pulls out the lawn chair, calls some budies to "Watch the show" as I cry out for my Okasan as the horns an hoofs do the BH's dirty work.

is there any way to address the issue of not having/ being able to do adiquit damadge as a MP JEDI, if in fact the nerf dart lands on JEDI, as it seems it will?

its hard but if u r brave enough get mls and mp, delcoak saber throw( nice kd at master ),, choke armor break or breack depends on who your fighting then saber attacks. remeber stims r your best friend. I have tried mp menh heal 4040, saber 0400 enh 4404 healing 4000 novice def mp and now mls mp healing 4000 def 1000 if u want to keep master powers u have to get mls i was told this when i was mp menh and brushed it off till i tried it the dmg u can dish out is insane.

it means soe doesnt give a damn about jedi and they are trying to burn down swg so there will be nothing left if/when lucasart would try to take it over and they just basically hate jedi.
