Thread: Get Over It

Let's start with a few facts:
- I am a veteran that started on day one
- I unlocked my Jedi pre-9
- I had to regrind numerous times and have lost skill boxes as well as lived with saber tef
- I grinded in solitude for months to get a finished template without the use of any broken spawn, cave. or spin group
Ok with that said all of you really need to get over it. Instead of crying over something that you haven't seen yet wait for it to come out, test it out, and give constructive opinions on what you like and don't like. Yes I worked hard for the character I have today and I have been nerfed many times but I also understand this is a game. It will be refreshing to see people be the character they want, so what if someone is handed a jedi as a starting profession. Just because we are Jedi now doesn't make us any more special then the other players out there. We all pay $15.00 a month (or whatever depending on the plan and what not).
Crying and complaining isn't gonna make them go "oh nevemind". So as stated above get over it and be constructive and stop spamming useless crap.

No, you get over it, if you dont like it, then piss off. Everyone on this board has every right to complain about garbage changes they didnt ask for, dont want, and want stopped. We did *NOT* grind for years and years to be some handmedown profession that any noob can pick up on, and we for damned sure didnt sign up to be equal to other classes. If SOE gives me the money back I spent on this game up to this point, then fine, whatever, but until they do, I will scream until we are heard.

This is a perfect example of someone who needs to step away from the computer a bit more often

1. The facts about your jedi characterdon't really matter... my alt is a dancer.. he knows poplock2.. not a big deal. Your profession and start date do not make your opinion any more valuable than the next subscriber. I don't mean to flame you on this, but it is a basic truth of the gaming businessindustry.
2. Most people are upset about being suckered into purchasing the expansion only to have their profession removed from the game.In most cases ithas nothing to do with how good or bad the new system is, it has to do with the ethics of business (perhaps an oxymoron) and the removal of entire professions. If jedi were removed from the game tomorrow without warning, I'm sure most jedi would be in an uproar over that too.

sigh do I really need to explain this
1. You know as well as I do that if I didn't put my experiences of mytime in SWG I would have been spammed to death about how I don't have a jedi and how I have no idea how hard it was blah blah blah. Every friggn post contains it. So yes you were trying to flame me but that's ok if it makes you feel better then ok.
2. The people that were suckered into buy the expansion do have a right to complain BUT that's not what everyone is crying about just some. Most people that are whining are whining about a game change they have not seen or used so basically I'm wanting them to wait for it to go to test, try it out, then they cand bish and scream about it all they want. Is it gonna change there mind, well no but atleast friggn try it first.

I disagree....
I put in my time just like you.
1) I feel the whole "jedi is a starting profession" is a slap in the face. Not to mention the destruction of several professions and hybrid mixes that made the game entertaining for many, including me on my alt.
2) If it was just a change to the "system" so to speak, I would be disappointed. But I am ENRAGED that SOE had such poor business ethic to push and push ToOW just to say "Gotcha". The ETHICAL thing would have been to launch it in conjuction with ToOW so we were informed consumers.
