Thread: Gosh Darned Cloak!

Ok, so I have a split personality, I have an mbh/mcm toon, and a jedi toon.
Today I'm hunting a Jedi, the fight starts off pretty good, but then the Jedi I'm hunting goes crazy with specials and drains his action and mind, and like they do when they realize their mistake, they run. So I'm rooting, snaring, and kd'ing, getting sooooo bloody close to incap before he sneaks in a heal, then he manages to get 20 meters away from me and cloaks....I mean come on! My pistol range is further than that and I'm actually still firing at him when he does it! Those cloak/cover rules need to include checking to see if your in combat, that was just stupid! I use cloak myself, but never in the middle of combat, I never figured it would work while in combat.

Karther thank you for your comments, and your attempt to explain a possible reason. My comments were not directed at your post or you but rather the contempt of several others that have openly displayed on both sides and yet they have nothing to offer to the discussion.

Because its a loooong boring discussion that we have to have with you idiots every day. Every day someone comes on the forums and tries and sound clever, like they are the first person who doesn't like cloak. It gets extremely old. Especially since at this point it is one of the only reasons to play my jedi over my UBER alt that can kick my Jedi's arss. Stop whining so much.

I love cloak, I use it frequently, just never like this. Thanks for your insights though, much appreciated.

Then what do you use cloak for, looting?

I agree any profession that gets an INVISIBILITY SKILL with zero counter abilities to see thru it needs to be nerfed. It's only a matter of time.
Yes, thankfully there isn't one. Although I know the secrets on it, I will never tell. There are stupid guesses and exploits to it, but there are also honest ones too I won't go into. It's not the almighty, "I Win", button. It's not foolproof. But alot can't seem to deal with it.

WHILE WE ARE AT IT I WANT A COUNTER FOR THYROID RUPTURE, ELECTROLYTE DRAIN, AND HEMHORRAGE!!! ANYTHING THAT DOES NOT HAVE A COUNTER TO IT SHOULD BE NERFED!!!
Preach on brother! Some that worked at least, lol. My buffs never saved me from those.
