Anyone else get a buff today and try to make a new saber? It didnt seem to make any difference for me.

Same, no noticable difference.

I also used Bespin & all the normal procedures, as well as the exact same resources as my pre-23 saber, no experimentation tapes. 2 Amazing successes, the rest Great.

Stats (no pearls/crystals/color crystals)

Speed 2.91
Mod Speed 1.72
Damage 147-246
Wound 34.7%
SAC 102
FC 49

Could be better, but the best I got right now.

I didn't notice any difference. I made about a dozen or so and didn't see any noticable difference between no food/buff, only buff, or food and buff combined. I did manage to make a better two hand saber than before, but it still does not beat my older db saber.

Tiggs posted a response saying that this will be hotfixed tomorrow so that the weaponsmith buff does affect LS crafting..

so for now just sit back and craft that 15.00 LS crfting toolkit.. woot!

I also tried it, use port for each point, and have have NO amazing successes, all Great only. Where before I'd get maybe one or two greats and all Amazings.

This is with the WS buff, with Pyolan Cake, +14, and Bespin Port +25.

That means my new 12 pt saber with full buffs, is no better than my 10 pt saber using only foods.

Where did Tiggs say that?

She didn't. The hotfix for tomorrow mentions nothing about fixing this issue... or the +10 Force regen on robes not working. I still get the same amount of Force back in ten seconds whether I'm wearing my robe or not.

Heck, even the patch notes for publish 23 don't say Jedi will use the weaponsmith buff - all we have/had to go on was Tiggs' "assurances" that she saw it in an e-mail.

Does her statement here suggest that ws inspiration will be fixed for jedi???

I suppose not, it wasnt posted in the announcements, or patch notes..

i will try as servers come back up, i urge others to as well and post here with any findings

Ok, but that was a few days ago. Not about todays hotfix. Not acusing you, but it just wasn't what we were looking for. I wanted a responce about this working or not working.

I crafted a new saber yesterday with the WS buff, and a 12 pt crafting outfit, and I got only good xperiments, using bespin port every time. That made my 12 pt saber only a bit better than my 10 pt saber was. Because that one I got amazings on almost every experiment, and it saved me at least 2 points there. So if I could use these buffs, and get what seems to be a negitive bonus to my experiments, well that shows something is wrong.

I'm going to buy 2 new 15.00 LS crafting tools today, and try this again with no wounds, at the same perfect station I used before for the 10pt saber, and see what happens this time.
