After reading Tiggs' post it is clear that lightsabers need a revamp.
I won't sit here and get all long-winded about what should be done, I'm just saying that our weapon needs a change.
Really, saber stats should be more dependent on the crafting end of things, with pearls & crystals relating to sabers as PUPs relate to normal weapons.
It's just not fun for Jedi who didn't get those fantastic tunes before the CU to have their butts handed to them by the uber pre-CU sabers time and time again. It's extremely unbalancing.
It's time to abandon a system dinosaured by the CU and allow us to achieve a respectable weapon.
Just my thoughts...
