Thread: Corsair POI stroke of luck

Well i have seen a couple past posts discussing the drop rates from doin corsair missions or just camping the POI.


Last night i finally finished my template(yay) and decided to hit the POI to see what i could get.


In 30mins i had 5 clears 6 colours.......all 5 clears were only "fair" but 2 of them tuned to 78 -6 which was a lot better than all of my "good" ones tuned to.


I think this just goes to show how random the drops are.....just a case of being in the right place at the right time.

Man gimme some of your luck! Nice one, yep its awsome when luck goes your way, i tuned a good crystal to 98 dmg and i think -7FC yesterday, wow I was surprised, my best tune ever.


Then the next 3 tunes were 16-17-22dmg

My alt just scored a 'good' off a Corsair CL 82 mission.


I just now took it home, and logged my Jedi on to tune it. As the server timer went off, I thought, maybe I should test something, so I waited for the final minute of shutdown, tuned it...


Dmg 35

Spd -0.05

FC -5


This crystal sucks, but its about par for my course...


Anayway, what I'm hoping, is that it gets rolled back just a few mins, and I get to tune it again.


I want to see if its really a 'SET' value, or a variable.


I also did this with no Insp buff, and 3wound dmg.


When I go back, I'll get buffed and healed.


BTW, I have about 100 clear/pearls, and have NEVER got a tune above 75 DMG, and I only got one crystal up to -8FC. but its DMG is only 17!!

People on "TC-Server-Clones" tuned the same crystal on their TC copy and their live server. The stats were different.

Cool, I got a few crystals from that POI before I unlocked and got one to tune 102 dmg, fc -3. I use it only because the dmg is good, biut I suffer from increased cost. I find it much easier harvesting krayt. A good krayt hunting 3 person team can take them down in minutes. The ndrops are pretty much hard to come by, but the krayt are plentiful. I plan on hunting krayt and harvesting until the bantha come home.

I retuned the crystal just now. Insp buffed, meditating at a shrine, and no wounds...



DMG 87 (highest DMG I have now!)


Speed -0.07


FC -3



So it is entirely random. Not sure if the other steps made a difference tho.


I still cant believe this is my best crystal now, not tthat it tuned so well, just that all my crystals are crap. lol
