My current template is MBH/MCM, i found some good Jedi's to spin group with. I hear MCM is not good with a noob jedi, is that true? I also want to craft a good saber. I know once i beat Malchie(however you spell it) you are no ways near done. I just want to get a heads up, because i hear when you are a young paddy, BH's can take you out in seconds. Should i change my template around some, like some DOC and some TKM?

any suggestions will be helpfull.

Well when I dropped all of mbh and picked up master doc while I had to wait for the old man. It worked out nicely But yuo have to remember thats when there was a 40 point speed buff so i dont know how it would work now. But I could defeat bhs.

If you play the game smart you don't need to worry about Bounty Hunters. I did the whole grind and kept off the terminals. Role play a Jedi in hiding, keep a low profile, and be aware of your surroundings. This will serve you well when you finally end up on the terminals.

Once you get your saber, you are not going to want to use any medic or cm healing while fighting or it will cut dramatically into jedi xp you earn.

Personally, I would suggest getting tkm for imp cob and the def bonuses and dropping cm/medic first as you need the points for jedi skills. Using cob with a saber is a bit of a pain as your macro has to unequip and then reequip your saber, but it certainly can be done and will give you better defenses than some 'full temp' jedi.

Last bit of advice is to get 3 full branches as soon as you can. This will keep your combat level at 80 or very close to it. I did saber 0040, healing 4000 and def 0040 (ok...after I got healing, I did pick up enh 0002 for channel). Now with enh 2002 and the 3 full branches, I have dropped all of mpike and nearly 1/4 of tkm and never dropped once below level 80. Some will say combat level doesn't matter, but since in pve you take more/do less damage to higher level critters, I think level isn't to be underestimated.

I wish I would have kept my cl at or close to 80. As you dropmin cl the exp you get per kill decreases as well. I rspec to TKM/Swords after I finshed the trials. The big thing is to not worry about BHs, just grind in famialer areas with people you trust, and always be on leave. The tkm/swords Def helped alot while grinding. The 1st thing you should get is ls xx2x. This will give you the spin attack wiich is an AoE. find good spin groups and spin away. You will level real quick this way.

Also. Make a good alt toon, if you don't have one. at some point you will get burned out. I took 2 months away and played my alt. The grind can really get to you. Space is also away to "unwind" from the Jedi grind.

Hope this helps
Good luck

I find your lack of pants disturbing.

I cannot teach him. The boy has no pants.

Your pants, you will not need them.

Going to try and sum it up.

1. MCM is not going to be helpful as everytime you use it, you will see a decrease in the amount of jedi xp you receive.

2. Drop MCM for TKM. CoB is great for reducing damage. Remember though, TK innate armor will not work when you have your saber equiped. Only general melee def will come into play.

3. AS FAST AS POSSIBLE get Double Bladed Lightsaber 2 (Spin Attack). Once you have this you will be able to triple your exp by getting in spin groups.

4. Get at least a couple tier 3 boxes, if not tier 4. Keeping your CL at 80 will maximize how much exp you receive. NEVER let your CL go below 65 otherwise you will take a HUGE hit in exp.

5. Play smart. Not gianing viz isn't that big a deal and if you keep an eye on whats around you can stay safe.

6. Dantooine Mining Outpost is a great place to get a group, Tatooine, player cities are fast becoming popular jedi AoE group grind spots.
