If you have NOT unlocked and are working on at least profession #25, please speak up either here or send me a PM. I'd like to start tracking your progress. Given a variety of factors that I'm not going to go into, it has become obvious that the only way that everyone will be convinced one way or another is if an old-timer unlocks or finishes #32 without unlocking. Since I'm guessing there aren't that many of you out there, here is your chance for 15 minutes of fame and hundreds of people rooting you on...

You do realize that this "new piece of the puzzle" has been brought up so they can plausibly deny that they didn't turn off unlocking when people start to hit 32 professions...

Well I am on number 19, I should have number 20 done in a few hours (WS). I used one holo (SL) then silent.
I have mastered 10 professions after silent so far.

Well I've done 25 professions and still havent unlocked. Instead of listing all the professions I've done its easier to list the ones I have not done. I plan on doing squad leader, CH, carboneer, commando, ranger, fencer, and merchant. I'm trying to work myself up to get back on the grind but my heart really isn't in it anymore. Maybe in a couple of days I'll restart my grind but now I just get pissed off whenever I log on.

26 profs down so wont list them all, I used 2 holos, one that said merchant the other said commando there was a span of some 7 or 8 profs inbetween the 2 holo uses, I have the following left
Carbineer, Rifleman, BountyHunter, ArmorSmith, WeaponSmith, Musican
Will be done carbineer in another day or 2, and rifleman by the end of the weekend if I can keep grinding at my current pace, I'll be doing Bounty Hunter next, giving myself a week to master it followed by the crafters then ending up in the last entertainer musican. While I'm grinding combat profs I'm stocking resources for my final craftathon.
I will hit 32 before patch 7 comes down the pipe one way or the other I will find out if the path to unlocking has been changed, if it has I and all 3 of my accounts will be leaving for brighter pastures at Final Fantasy Online, in addition to 2 friends with multiple accounts aswell.
I have screenshots and logging of every prof mastered. I go for final training turn on logging /lo and leave on for 5 minutes after training. After I get the new title I change to it, press screen capture. Call me paranoid but I figured there might be a day where I have to prove my prof mastery.

Great, now we are getting somewhere. I also found a couple of people in other threads and will contact them with PMs. I think, in general, most people have saved some of the harder professions until last so I don't know how long it will take for people to hit 32, but I'm sure it will happen before Publish 7!
Master_Ty: On the bright side, SL is easy. I did it in two days at Tusken Fort. And a friend of mine zipped up Commando easily.
Newarr: The key to weaponsmith is getting the materials to craft Heavy Warheads. There are three sometimes hard to find resources, but if you get them then it isn't too bad.
Terminaal: Actually, my guess at what will happen is even more cynical than yours, but this isn't the thread for such things. I want to keep this as much pure information-gathering as I can.

Well, If you created your character before the Politician patch, it would be impossible for that profession to come into play based on the concept of 4+1 at character creation. I'm on 20 now myself. Good luck to those ahead of me ... I thought Master BH would be my last profession .. but Politician maybe?

Gebetob: Get out of here and get to work then!
If these burning questions still remain unanswered as some of you get nearer to 32, we might even be able to find some people willing to help the cause (usage xp, getting wounds for you to heal, etc.).
