Thread: Looking for viz rules

I haven't played since right after CU and RotW came out. I am now playing again and need to know where I can find the current rules as to what generates visibility.

any non-groupmember who's within 32m when you use a power, activate/use your saber, or equip/unequip a robe/saber will give you vis. You won't get any just for holding a saber or wearing a robe.

I would also like info on any new foods, CAs', or ant other info that might be helpfull

BIG TIME, common, who is the vehical gonna tell. Alot of jedi know of this, but i do not care. For new jedi tho, beware

some questions to add:


what about pets/droids grouped and ungrouped?


also, can i use a power 32m+ away from something that will give me vis even if the target of the power is within that 32m?

A good rule of thumb I use is anything that alters your Force bar in any way while 32m from an un-grouped player or npc will give you visibility. This includes tuning crystals and being cloaked.

Players, NPCs, droids, pets,and vehicles NOT grouped with you will create vis during any action you gained through becoming a jedi: equiping/unequiping jedi items (robe/lightsaber), tuning crystals/pearls, activating lightsaber, using any jedi related skill. These are the generally agreed upon rumors/rules of vis from the vet jedi community.


Be grouped far away from things, don't do it, or expect a BH....your choice.
