Thread: CU2 lightsabers..should we craft now before our skills change?

i heard that when we switch over we'll be cl80 but only able to use third gen sabers..and from what i understand we're still getting ls exp and assembly till lvl 90...should we craft a bunch of sabers now before this thing hits live?

well what is the cost to craft some sabers now?
pretty much nothing so i had craft some just incase you never know
so you say gen3 at cl80 ush good i have some pre cu gen 3 sabers

im in TC right now and i can see that we wont be able to "Craft" fourth gen lightsabers at Cl 80. but we may be able to use them

That is such BS that we are not converting to full Level 90. Its really a slap in the face. After grinding out a full temp Jedi I have to go grind more? Ridiculous.

cool..can you see what the stats are so when i craft mine i can put the points into a certain stat....just curious ifefficiency/speed is going away??? then i know what stat to put the points into.....

I agree. I swore thatmy 6 months of isolation, in the wilds of Endor, would be the last I'd ever grind. Looks like I was wrong!

its all speculation right now. No one other than the devs can tell you for sure what the story is, and as usual, they're not talking . That being the case, its wisest to do lots of crafting now to cover all bases. Craft a bunch of 3rd gens. Craft a bunch of 4th gens. Heck, maybe even wanna craft some 1st and 2nds. For everything you craft, craft a variant with different experimentation. There's no telling what will end up converting best.

I highly recommend you all craft sabers now. I made one of each 3rd and 4th gen before the CU. You may never be able to make them as good again.

I actually like it. If I can play as a level 80 toon and have fun, level 90 is just another goal to achieve.

I think the point is to force us into learning the new system. We will be missing out on a lot of backround starting at cl 80, and if we started at 90 we would have no training at all

I've been looking at the animated skilltree GIF that was posted in http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=jedi&message.id=1333084
If the little dots on the inner cirlce represent levels and the skills come when the skills come (levels and skills appear to be unrelated now) then depending on how you count we can craft 4th gen sabers at level 77 or 78. I'll be the first to admit that I may have missed a level when counting from the beginning, but if you look at the last page and assume level 90 is full xp, then counting backwards, we get 4th gen sabers while in CL 78. If it's the last dot for level 90, then we have it better and get 4th gen at level 77.
