The best way to honor veteran Jedi is not giving us robes or crystals. I honestly have NO problem with making Jedi a profession that can be chosen, but allowing any player to respec a full template over to Jedi is absurd. The Jedi profession should be removed from the respecing ability and all who wish to be jedi should have to grind like everyone else who EARNED the honor of being a Jedi. And to all the villagers who will complain and say that you put so much time into grinding for the village, well I'm talking about the JEDI profession... something you would have to have grinded anway. Of course, all existing Jedi should automatically convert to the new Jedi system and let that be that. All others who wish to be Jedi should earn it. Doing this would make the hard work we put in place actually worth something. Just my two cents, and for the record I am looking forward to the changes.

I would agree with this if it were worth having, but odds are there will be more fun profesions to play so letting them try it, then letting them respec out may be better.

not too bad a IDea....

too bad that the stament and presetation of suggestion itself had very lil honor......not to mention alot of Jedi that post on forums here do not act with honor anyway

there are a few taht do... and you know Im not talking about you....

I meen the ppl bragging about griefing...... the xploters.... and the house afker.... you know who you are....

I give all due respect tho to all those that fought and lived honorable.... and this comment is not directed blindly too all Jedi ....

This would still attract newbies and make marketing people happy - plus veteran Jedi Masters may have a chance to respec to the Jedi status.

They should have to grind it ,just like us , its as simple a that . Sony , its your call .. Making it a starter class is something you obviously wont be talked out of . Atleast make them actualy grind jedi like we had to . Is there even going to be Bounty marks on them ? I'm not clear on if there still is player bounties or not , but from what I could gather around the forums , there isnt going to be forced pvp . Make them grind to jedi , dont even let them respec to try it out . We pre cu2 jedi had to put up with loosing XP , and generally long unlock + actual grind times . Make it right sony , treat us fairly . Not that giving them the privelage is treating us fairly , but atleast make them grind it from LVL 1 .

Does it really matter if they allow others to respec into Jedi?

They won't be given sabers, so they will have to get the resources and the pearls/crystals to make their sabers.

They will not be given the extra character slot.

They will not get the title or the bonus buff crystal.

Once the first Jedi was unlocked it was only a matter of time before they became common place.

You should worry more about whether Jedi will actually be a viable character class.
