Thread: When did this forum turn into a bunch of 8 year olds arguing about candy?
But i'll doubt we will ever see that change again. "old-school" jedi ebayed (most of them)
and the New jedi want to be all powerfull.
If i could Delete my Jedi, And force 50 other jedi to delete theirs too, I'd do it in a heartbeat

That's kinda sad, wanting to screw over 50 other players just to make yourself feel better

its sad, but so would i.
the new jedi want all the power and glory of the old jedi, but when someone mentions xp loss, skill loss, or permadeath, they have a million excuses why they should have their cake and eat it too.
I agree the rants are bit excessive and could use more substance.
However, I would loveto take your pearls and saberaway, make you craft a post-cu saber, tune some good pearls, and thenhaveCM's come mop you up daily
Then we'll see if your singing the same "I'm better than you happy tune"

I'll tell you why the forums are like this --
1 -- New combat system over old combat system, adapting and thwarting bugs to boot. We all know that the CU brought more trouble to the table then was initially there. Yes, attacks are less spammable, more strategy is involved....but think about how much bugs have been fixed in the publishes afterwards, and how many more are still needed....It's amazing how many flaws can be found with just spending 10 minutes in game.
2 -- Due to flaws/downtime/CU/whatever, Jedi get double/quadruple xp, removal of pve/pvp risks (non-BH related), and get the option of NUMEROUS respecs with a flawed respec system that could easily be exploitable. Talk about backlash from the older Jedi community...the grind in Jedi was never THIS easy, not even close.
3 -- Alpha class, only one...and it happens to be us. So not only doJedi get the above situations/flames from other Jedi, they have to contend with the flames from 30 odd other professions. Talk about against the numbers. And since anyone can access these forums, expect to see non-Jedi posing as Jedi or BH's on board to flame away/start arguments.
4 -- One profession, 5 disciplines, 226 SP. Of course, there will be more flames within simply because of the template choices we must make, and the choices are ABUNDANT. It may be a good thing that alot of skills in the profession are borked (less choice to make) but this hinders playstyle choice too. Hence broken skills, different template choices, ideal playstyles.....that is just a can of spaghetti-o's waiting to explode in the microwave.
As much as i hate the ranting on these forums, if they are asking for the Jedi to be stronger, i totally agree with every "reasonable" one.

Have you tried it? Perhaps if you deleted it, the server WOULD kick off 50 others.
