I think were probably going to find that a poor pearl/crystal will BASICALLY never tune correctly, I mean the % is probably somethin like .001%. But even so! Theres been a lot of pearls tuned across the galaxies...I think you are right about what Tiggs means. It sounds to me like its possible to get an awesome tune from any crystal/pearl, but the chances skyrocket as you get higher quality drops. Ive argued this point for a loooong time and noone seemed to think I had anything. I think well just have to tune a loooooot of good pearls to see 120 -9 tunes with any frequency. In the old system I never tuned a premium pearl/crystal that didnt have at least high damage OR low FC. It was usually around the area of 40 -8. which translates to like 96 damage with the CU damage difference....Hopefully this will be the case when they put premies back in the game...or we start looting them. Tiggs made it seem like premies are in the game now, but I find that hard to believe.

Yes, thats pretty much what she says - good pearls have a chance to tune to 120 / -.3 / -9. Although judging from my experience, every stat will have a seperate random roll, so in reality you would need 3 perfect random rolls at the same time to get a perfect pearl. With the chance for one random roll being pretty low according to Tiggs, I doubt you will ever see 120 / -.x / -9 "good" pearls.
The problem is it is possible, what Tiggs doesnt tell us, though, is that the chance for 1 tune to be better than 110 / -8 probably is in the neighborhood of 1 : 1 billion.

chances of that happening 4 times in a jedi's life, hell, a players life... ZILCH.


chances of that happening 1 time in a jedi's life? Zilch.

Chances of that happening in a player's life? 100% if you buy the server's source code/info after the game fails @ the rate these devs are messing up.
