Thread: Im NOT happy with what JustG said

Based on some detailed conversations with the Correspondents, as well as your feedback, we have already implemented some changes on TC & TC2 for the credit you receive if you unlocked.
As you know, those that have unlocked between publish 9 & 10 will be given all 6 Force Sensitive branches that they need to proceed to Padawan.
Now, based on our interactions with the community, you will also be given the experience necessary to purchase all four boxes in each branch.
So: Intro Quest, Exit Quest, and on to Padawan. You can still do the Force Sensitive quests if you desire to gain their specific rewards.
First off I mastered 30 professions before publish 9 (No unlock) to find out that my main would now be my jedi.I learned to accept that becauseI found out that I would at least be getting my second character slot (non jedi), no biggy, at least I will be a Jedi padawan with my main.
I finally get around to unlocking (my 32nd profession) before publish 10, now JustG is saying that I have to do the start, end and padawan quests
GIVE ME MY JEDI ALREADY!!!
I want my character to be a padawan come publish 10, NO QUESTS, NO ANYTHING, I did whatI was told, UNLOCK and now I find out that I now have to do more work to do....
Just let me play my padawan already, is that so much to ask?
You know what would be fair, if the devs made it so that all the people that have jedi right now have to use their mains to do the intro and end of the village and make it so you cannot play your jedi until you do them.
Then you guys would know exactly where I am coming from.
Im not asking the devs to do this, im not asking for anything special like a knight,I even gave up on the idea of my second slot being a jedi. I just want what I have unlocked "a jedi". Im not "whinning" because I got ripped off or because I didn't unlock. I did get the unlock message, why can'tI just have the option to start out as a padawan?
And if you are going to post a message such as "Stop whinning", please don't it just wastes reading time, post something valuable like how it wouldn't be feasible and why, thanks

Im with you, everyone that unlocked after pub 9 should automatically get to go padawan. Its just stupid for you guys to have to more work then you have to.

I'm not sure you should be upset with the announcement- you get the 6 force lines for free, which is good. That places you at some 'fun' content with the Padawan trials. Now, I'd love to hear the details on the Padawan 'trials' but my understanding was they were pretty cool, and resulted in quests to get what you need to make your first lightsaber. If so, then in a way you are 'lucky' since you won't jump right into the jedi grind.
It would be nice to have the option to choose instant Jedi, or do trials. Funny enough, many of us Knights felt like you did- we were 4/4/4/4 Guardians so felt we 'deserved' to be a Knight. We'd done it all. Looking back, I'm glad they encouraged us to to the knight quests. Sure we moaned a bit about some of the rare mobs... but it WAS fun to complete them with friends.

I'm told that there's not much tothe padewan trials - compared to the notion of grinding the xp for the force sensitive boxes, doing the trials is practically nothing.

Intro quest = go outside any city, talk to old man, kill sith, find sith, kill more sith, find city... Takes roughly 45 mins, and does not require any guess work, looking for random loot drops or any of that stupidness. Just get outside a city and chat with theold man, and loot every sith that tries to kill you after that.
End quest = Padawan trials in all likely hood. Makese sense since you start out as an initiate just like every jedi before you.
Do you have no concept of what your not going to have to do?!?! probably not, or you'd be plenty happy with this I think.

I'm sure the difficulty and time involved with the padawan trials is nowhere near that of the knight trials. I understand your frustration but it'll probably be able to be completed in less than a day.
Just be happy you don't have to grind the millions of xp to convert...I know I am.

I am happy with having to do the Padawan Trials, I don't mind having to do the content, I just wasn't about to grind the FS XP after I unlocked with 32 proffs...

I'm going to take a break from the Knight Trials just to go and take my main through this. Forget the solo permabordom grinding for a few weeks and sink my teeth into some content.

biwan: youve got to be frigging kidding me! how in the hell could anyone NOT be happy with his statement?? i mean i think its alot better then what they originally wanted to give ya!be thankful not pissy about it! i mean god... some people are never happy with anything! jezzzuzzzz

I am completely happy with this, and i cant wait till Tuesday to do the Padawan trials.
