The Weaponsmith buff is supposed to be working for Lightsaber crafting. If it does not, it is bugged.

Well i tried it out this morning and i saw 0 i repeat 0 difference in the crafting process from what it was b4 the patch( except possibly less success as i did not get one amazing in 15 crafting runs)so no i don't think it is working. in fact i was not able to repeat crafting success from pre patch crafting runs using the best resources, 12 points of experimenting and research center, all crafting food perfect tools and crafting station etc
