My character is an architect and force sensitive, i have the force crystal

have met the old manand got help to kill sith camp, Ive been to the village but became dis-intrested in the whole jedi grind but now im leaning towards pursuing jedi. I am only Combat Lvl 20, Is there any possible way that a primarilty crafting player can achive Jedi ranks, or is it just to difficult. I enjoy crafting, At what point could i obtain a second character to play.

To the Force Sensitive forums, you should go. The answers to your questions, it has.

it is very possible...you can do the 4 crafting branches in crafting mastery and then the 2 survey quests from senses to get your unlock..however that would be alot of crafting and with your low CL a few of the Paddy trials would be pretty hard(suppose you could get help)

So the answer, yes ,you could obtain the padawan rank and unlock your char slot...yes if you chose to work through jedi with such a low CL it would be difficult but it is very possible.

I havent been able to find any pre-posted info, so im starting my own post to ask.... why do so many jedi have low CLs? I mostly see jedi anywhere between CL 30-60. Once you unlock your jedi, then only your jedi skills count towards your CL or something? Or do non-jedi skills still count towards your CL? So if im master swordsman and master fencer... which makes me lvl 80... and I unlock my jedi, will I still be lvl 80 untill I start dropping my skills, or is my CL calculated another way?

Both skills count towards your CL, there are low level Jedi because they drop their non jedi skills to make room for jedi skills thus lowering their CL. Hope that helps

ah ok.. makes sense, i just thought that they could drop skills as they learn new ones without dropping their CL so low like ive done while changing my non jedi template without having to drop below lvl 70 or so.... /shrug Im assuming jedi skill points must be a bit diffrent........

The lower level jedi skills cost a large amount of skill points, while the higher level non jedi skills cost low amounts of skill points. So you're forced to drop more high level skills than you gain.
