Thread: Flawless and Premium Pearls drops wont be fixed

Julio Torres: We are working on a fix for the hig- end items like these. Expect changes on this on or right after our next expansion.
Notice she says high-end items like these. She never actually says they're fixing pearls.
I tend to notice things like that because I teach Public Relations at Rowan University in NJ. I use SWG in many of my lesson plans and this is a prime example on how to avoid a riot.
Everything Tiggs tells you, especially in an interview is carefully worded and prepared in advance. She was already well-versed in how to respond to that question. And she rightfully dodged a sticky question.
It is in my opinion that pearls are working as intended and will never change. However you'll never see Tiggs post that. Folks, stop clinging to that hope cause its just not gonna happen

what's funny is nubz can't understand or simply don't want to, the fact that premiums were removed from the game by the swg marketing dept. you will understand later why they did this.

But your point is still a good one Sandsifter, they craft their statements in order to avoid making claims they can't, and or won't back up. Of course this is commonplace in any business.

no more 1 day old padawans with bought or handed to them from guild 120 -9 pearls

I doubt that becasue the drops are controlled on the server sider. Otherwise people would hack their clients to exploit. This happend all the time in UO until they moved just about everything from the client side to the server side.

since many of you simply don't get it here is straight in your face:
they want you to BUY the expansion in order to loot things like premiums or be competitive in the frs if they change the ls crafting components.
that is why they removed them from the game.
that is why it takes 2 months to do a 10 min fix (including testing)

I would bet almost anything that for a Jedi to have a saber that will even come close to one with pre CU pearls they will HAVE TOO BUY the expansion..And that quests and drops from the new planet will be the only thing that will givecrystals as good as pre CU and they will "introduce" a new type of Pearl from a large creature there. JMO
