Actually the EULA and any contract is not binding if it contains language contrary to federal or state law. Meaning your contract can not require you to work 120 hours a week for less than minimum wage. You can not make a contract that says you know you are working outside OSHA regulations, or that you can not speak about fenced merchandise you see, same here. At least according to my CC Company. I just got my $30 back because they found it to be a direct attempt to misrepresent the product to the consumer, and an unsound business practice to market the game and withhold information about the upcomming changes.

I am not crying that NGE will be bad i'm unhappy about the release times on the day of TOOW launch and the game changes that affect that expansion and the previous promises by SOE.

Gratz, you got your $30 back. You can always file a claim at the bbb.org and see what they can do for you.

But think about it, its an expansion. Im sure there will be things there for the new system, and im sure you will run out and use that $30 to go buy it before the end of the month.

I know and i'll be keeping my expansion BUT I'm telling people this so they have the option and not to just take this from SOE lying down. Its been confirmed that you can get you money back from your CC company if you would like to cancel. Few people now telling me this. I can't guarantee this as each CC is different but its Principle.

PS i really wish this NGE to succeed but i will not accept being lied to and neither should you!

We have been lied to the moment we picked this box up from the shelf. The current state of the game is NOTHING like we were promised.

Lets hope the CU2 changes this for the better.

Im excited for these changes.

Got my money back from american express. Got extremely lucky that the guy I happen to talk to also was a SWG player. He contested his charges for toowthe minute he read the changes in the forums. Guys, even american express says that this is a type of fraud and will be investigating it. They even supported the fact that the original c.u. promises that were publicly made and not keptcan be challenged monitarily since soe has no intentions of keeping them and thus were baiting you to stay in the game and paying their monthly fees. The key is to prove that soe isnt going to keep the promises that baited you to stay. now days that is getting easier and easier. Guys you do have some power and its lies within the way you pay for the games.
