maybe this has been mentioned before and perhaps it was thought about but what if crystals/pearls had stats when looted? no more guessing with tuning but you would still need to tune them to keep the bio-link effect that they want crystals to have. if you find any other weapon component, they have numbers on them. crystals should be the same.

Pre-9, that's exactly what happened. It meant that -9 FC pearls, especially ones near the cap of 200/-1.99/-9, sold for at least 20 mil each. At the height of existance of Premium Pearls, they cost 2 mil each.
