So... I keep seeing video's people made of pre-cu fights and such, and the more and more I watch, the more I wonder why?
Why did we change to the CU. From my experience pre-cu the game was a challenge. Fights where fast and long. Battles where huge, and fun.
I just dont understand WHY

post cu is better.. pre cu was full buff, spam headhit..
More complex now

True, I guess the main thing I miss is the speed on combat. It seems like they want to make it even slower.

There were flaws in the old system for sure. DOTs, campers, griefing etc. Now with hindsight we should take the best parts of BOTH systems. Personally, i think the old mechanics were better for a base but it sure as hell wasn't perfect.

I'm sure 99%of people don't miss having to queue for 10 mins to get a buff to able to do ANYTHING, so nice to just log on and be ready.

I don't miss the having to stand in line for 10-30 min for a stupid buff so I can go kill stuff...and it wasn't fun because everyone was camping every spot that dropped ANY good loot so there was nearly no chance of getting it myself..at least I have a chance now going at it with a group of friends..I miss some things Pre-CU but overall I love Post-CU I just wish it didn't seem so slow in PvP.

or up to an hour i waited sometimes

Yeah, not having to be buffed is a big plus, and I do love both systems, and yeah it did have flaws.
I remembered I logged out in the DJ Enclaves and I re-logged in and found myself in the Council leaders chair. For those who know a DJ Enforcer cant pass through the doors to get there, neither can they travel back... so I had to wait 4 hours for a CSR to come teleport me out lol!

Like I said, I jsut miss the speed of fights.
