A hypothetical scenario:

Yes, another one. But please read it all before you start flaming.

Question: If you take away all bounty hunters that are jedi alts, how many bounty hunters are left?
Answer: Less than 10%, and not 50% or so as it is today.

Question: What do these jedi-alt-bounty-hunters do?
Answer: They hunt jedi, obviously.

Question: What do jedi do about bounty hunters?
Answer: They hate and harass them, for the most part.

Why become a jedi (movie style):
Yoda: "Why wish you become jedi..hmm?"
Luke: "Mostly because of my father i guess."

Why become a bounty hunter (SWG style):
Player X: "Why become a bounty hunter?"
Player Y: "So i can slaughter many jedis because if my jedi dies, so will thiers."

Conclusion:
You are actually fighting an inner struggle with yourself, and you are loosing. Why? Because the devs will eventually nerf both professions until they are useless, all because of everyone throwing crap at each other.

You are asking for your own two professions to be nerfed, and then argue about how bad the devs are, this game sucks, i'd go for Game X over this crap etc. Not to mention you will take away the fun from those bounty hunters that are actually doing it for the roleplaying aspect (Yes they exist, hence mmorpg).

Person X will whine on the jedi boards when their jedi gets killed, and then go whine on the bounty hunter boards when their alt bounty hunter gets killed. I mean....Come on.

Ask for fixes first so the game will work as it's supposed to, then small changes/balances and do it nicely. Think before you speak unless you want to stop playing this game before christmas.

Bah, the devs never listens to us you say. Of course not, if we throw this crap in their faces all the time. Actually, they ARE listening to us, but they are forced to prioritize making nerfs because of people whining on the boards and/or cancelling accounts.

But i pay X to play this game. Yes, and so does everyone else. It would be a nice idea if one could "suspend" his/heraccount for a while, and get a form asking why. That way the devs could focus more on what the players want, and know you will come back when it's done.

No, my alt is not a bounty hunter, as i wanted to try crafting. But with recent developments on these boards i thought i'd throw in my two cents. Yes i will probably get flamed for this, but as long as i can get one or two people to agree with me i'm happy. Iknowthe above is not true for everyone, but we all know it's true for many. So don't beoffended if you do have a jedi and a bounty hunter alt.

I was a 3444 BH less than a year ago (ironically i gave it up to start my jedi). It was fun, never hunted jedis though. I did take a jedi mission once and tracked him to Coronet, but i didn'tattack him. I would surely have died if i did. Jedis were feared back then =)
