i am curently mls healer 4000 enhancer 3402 defender 4040
im realy dont like force armor to much force cost ussualy gets me killed rather then protecting me.
im looking for advice on where i should but this tree into should i get ranged defense tree force valor tree or something else
any opinoins ?

I am in the same boat as you. I have the exact same template and have been contemplating getting rid of force armor. Seems to me that it does me more harm than good. I have been thinking about getting the ranged tree in defender, but would also like to hear some responses here first before i jump the gun into more monotonous grinding.

same here i only use it as a last resort and never real get a chance to use it as a last resort so i just kinda have skill points into something i dont use. and when i do use it my force craps out and i die either from no force or spaming heal
ranged tree seems the way to go ut ive always liked the idea of valor just wanted some opinoins

I was just thinking that without force armor, you take more damage, which means that you have to heal, maybe, twice as much. Don't know if I could handle that the way that force heal drains mind so fast. But then again with ranged defense you would have better innate armor, you can take more damage, and dont have to heal twice as much. Btw does valor even work?

I had that exact template and was not pleased with the force cost associated with Force Armor. So I changed to 4440 Defender and am very pleased with the changes. I no longer find myself needing to channel as often, although I do take a bit more damage. I think the trade off was wellworth it.
Here is the results of some quick testing I did right before I changed..wouldhave done more detailed testing but as soon as we started the server was about to shut down.
I had a friendof mine hit me with the same attack ( Head hit I thinkit was )
With ForceArmor on: 380 pts damage
With4440 Defender:497 pts damage
Hope this helps you with your decision.

hmmm i think ranged defense wins force cost vs the little bit of damage done to be the force cost is just way to much and makes me heal to much and i run outa mind and then die
