Lo all,
Non jedi here got a noob question on crystals...
Does the condition of a crystal make it any better than any other, i just looted a yellow crystal thats 1200/1200 ive never seen em higher that that... any1 got an answer for me..plz

no. A color crystal is worth about 5-15k regardless of it's condition. And a yellow crystal is worth around 5k because it is the least favored color.

you know ive been thinking about this.. maybe the higher the condition on crystals the better the "chance" to roll for a better tune.. it seems all my higher condition crystals tuned better than my low cond- ones.. altho they all still tuned for CRAP! lol

Thats cleared that up... but spawned another question 
..
Whats the most popular/sort after color and why are clear crystals worth so much..?

Thats cleared that up... but spawned another question

those clear crystals are for a lightsabers damage and forcecost ..
and the sought after ones i would guess would be the Sunriders destiny.. (aquaish color) and or the Banes heart (kinda reddish)
just becasue they give a few nifty bonuses!

clear and colour do completely different things
all sabers need 1 colour crystal - which determines the colour of the blade - but all normal colour crystals are exactly identical in performance
however
sabers also have space for up to 4 clear or "damage" crystals - these add damage to the saber - reduce the force cost and increas speed and wound values
these come in various "qualities" which to some extent influences the bonuses a crystal will get when tuned by a jedi. flawless and premium will usually the best and fair/poor usually the worst however in theory there is a random chance that a fair can tune better than a premium...
