get canyon corsair missions on lok

Hmm...I've already tried doing the corsair base on lok (POI) and the drop rate is decent, do mission have a higher drop rate?

well i seem to loot 1 crystal for every 3 missions i run...or right around that ratio. besides, i'd rather do missions right out of nym's starport than have to ride my bike out to the corsair base (i'm lazy like that).

not the ns vs smc battlefield...
after 30-45 min with a 4 man grp mowing thru them we got 1 purple crytal, and some useless weapons. oh, and berries. yay for berries...

i did have good luck on lok last nite, 3rd mission, good crystal, tuned to 60somthing

I managed to kill a Kunga for like 400 units of some very nice beans. Guess I know what was for dinner and why he was all alone. I like the random Pirates on Lok, they are like 40 levels below me nice to be able to kill something without taking 10 minutes.

the cl 59-69 force mystics, renegades,crypt crawlers, archiacts, and crytsal hunters all drop fair crystals and holocrons, very easy to kill they spawn in grps of 2-20 in random loactions around the SW mokk villag eon dantooine, as well as the cl 111 that do as well, they have random names, and there wepaons although not lightsabers, have soundeffects that mimic light sabers, all these are non aggressive so u can aggro one in the middle of a grp and the others wont attack, unless one just spawned right next to you while urkilling another,then he may attack you.

solo or group?

I ran Canyon Corsair missions for 2 hours last night (bored with grinding my Jedi) with my MBH and what I got for 2 hours of work is:

6 color crystals

5 power crystals (all good)

The tunes were ok (from the worst tune ever to a 80ish damage -7fc one). These were lvl80+ missions out of a player city. After killing 100s of these in the past it appears their loot table is pretty specific: wire, small motor, leather gloves, rifle barrels, color crystals, and power crystals.

the corsair talk reminds me....
pre cu, lost aqualish & binares on talus dropped crystals also. bin's dropped seas too. might be worth running some player city missions ot see what they drop now @ cl 80ish...

I used to loot loads of crystals off the corsairs. However ran about 20 over the past few days and havent looted a single crystal
