I got to thinking last night about all the Force Cost (FC) that our Light Sabers (LS) used and if that was just or not. Normal profession weapons have a Skill Action Cost (SAC) and a minor mind cost. That seems reasonable even in the Combat Upgrade (CU), but what about FC and wheni should it be applied? Well for more powerfull attacks with our LS we get the timer and action and mind cost to vary as it should, but only certain conditions should exist when FC is applied.
After thinking some more it seems only the attacks in the LS xxx4 branch and in the master box would realisticly in the Star Wars Universe use Force in the LS tree. The Lightsaber Throw and Knockdown, and Blocking with a LS. Since the Force is used to guide our hands to block shots, every time a shot is blocked we should use up some Force. However with the same token moves like Spin Attack, Power Hit, Leg hit, Armor Break and Deverish are not special enough moves to use Force. Such moves for other professions need no Force to implement the corresponding moves in the LS tree.
I'm sure others have stated this thought but I figured it beared repeating. Just was not sure the idea of blocking and the LS xxx4 using Force while the first three LS branches not using any Force. Just seems logical to me.
But when is anything that gets played with by the Devs logical anymore. If there was a grand plan in how the dynamics of the game were gonna turn into that the player base could know about, such info would be appreciated. Content upcoming I can see and understanding the Developers keeping under wraps, but that is not the same thing as changing the game dynamics. Well thats my rant for the day.
Oh one last thing too, is when crafting a LS maybe that woud use Force like when tuning crystals. Bring more Star Wars feel to the event.
