Thread: I got jumped by 2 bhs, I thought they fixed this? :(

A bh comes for me, fully armored, fully buffed, mcm/mbh ect ect...almost 90% of bhs on my server are mcm/mbh, all was well until I noticed my health drop dramatically low and boom inc. 
I'm frusterated that I couldn't take damage from only 2 players, thank soe for the power of my flashlight.

either bad luck, or coordinated hunting... one bh has your mission at the same time as another. It might be a coincidence, or if could have been they were grouped, one pulled a mission and found you while the other ran off to get missions at random until they found you. either way, a lot of luck involved, or at the very least very few jedi must have been online at the time

Yeah they definately messed up something with BH missions. I have guild members who almost never get attacked, but when one shows up there always seems to be a second right after that. They need to make it so only onen BH can attack a jedi at once, even if they both have his mission the first one who attacked is the only one who can attack until the jedi TEF is over, then BH two should be able to attack.

I believe there are some issues with the BHer terminals, but keep in mind that if this was at a low activity time for your server it can likely be pure coincidence. I have a jedi and a bher, a few nights back I was hunting jedi, and pulled a mission, died. So I said whatever, and picked up another mission. Same jedi, not only that, but a friend I was talking to on Vent picked up the same mission too. No exploits just pure chance.
It happens.

Yes, but it seems to be happening to jedi all at the same time. I know people who do not get a BH for a week, then all of the sudden they have two at once. I think there is something messed up, not just it happens.

Did this happend at late night/early morning? The terminals now list only Online Jedi. And the risk of meeting multiple BHs at offpeak hours are usually higher then in toppeak hours.

I am afraid theres your answer.
The number of BHs outnumber Jedi, and there are few jedi online offpeaks, so the chances thats someone picking your mission increases somewhat, even ofcource the numbers of online BHs drops too at offpeak hours. But since BHs are the most common profession, the chances someone picking your mission is imo increasing late night.
I cant document it ofcource, but from my own experience, i get way more BH visits at late night/early morning, then in the onpeak hours.
If you play late night. Be prepared.

I think tiggs posted a while ago that the maximum was 5 bh at any time. that was dropped to 3 and may eventually be dropped to just one BH.

The display of the names were taken off the terminals.
But multiple BH can still pull your mission from sheer luck or from a coordinated effort.
The more BH pulling missions the greater the odds of more then 1 BH pulling your mission.

I've took missions on my BH and got there to see the Jedi already being attacked. It's just pure chance that they both had your mission.

They made it harder, but its still possible for 2 BH's to get your mission. Don't whine...if they make it any harder for BH, its gonna be impossible for them, and frankly, I think they deserved the kill if they took the time to both draw your mission 
. Just be happy you don't have squads of 5 BH's coming after you anymore.

The only thing they "fixed" was your ability to win when facing more than one BH at a time.
