Thread: We just wanna kill stuff...

I have sadly come to the following conclusion:
- we, the people who post on these forums and who are (mainly) against the forthcoming changes, probably represent only 5% of the SWG population (if that);
- crafters probably only represent 1% of the SWG poulation;
- the remaining 98-99% of the SWG population are console kiddies who will be very happy to see the game become a sort of First Person Shoot-Em-Up.
I was recently walking through Coronet when a couple of new players (CL1) asked me "Where is a good place to go to kill stuff?". I started to explain about levelling, giving a few basic tips, but they interrupted me: "We just wanna go kill stuff - where's the best place?".
I am not suggesting thatthey are allbloodthirsty console kiddies who want a very simple game with no depth or complexity whatsoever, and who do not give a stuff about crafting. But I fear that most of them are. The new game is thus designed to please the majority.
So sad.
