Thread: Every Jedi with same skills? You have GOT to be kidding me!

Every profession (jedi too) will all get the same moves...period. Ok what part about this seemed like a good idea to them?

all pre 9 jedi were the same... it was still cool.


but maybe they'll add some sort of talent point system so jedi will be better in different fields, much like WoW

in the old old system this is how it was every jedi had the same template its nothing new and alot of people liked it better that way i know i did it was more star wars jedi then what you have today

Hmmm I'm not so sure that will be the case. I'm thinking that everyone will have the same skills available as you progress through the levels, except you will be able to choose from a different selection at each level up. So within the single classes there will be individual trees (just think Diablo 2).


At least thats howI sincerely hope it will be. If everyone does end up with a single set of class skills then (a la EQ2) then the beautiful diversity that was SWG will be gone

Yes that was always a good thing about SWG, the fact you could easily change your template if you got bored and the fact that most people had differring skills.


Once this goes live, I guess the game will rely more on actual new content and loot rather than actually grinding. I just hope SOE has got some good new content for us all.

The only reasonable content I have seen is the stuff I have had to pay more $ for.


I think I read something from this Julio Torres about game content in MMORPGS, he/she said something along the lines of it is normal for a game to receive less and less content the older if gets.
