Thread: CU2 question about FS & Jedi

I am not a forum troll, and surfing for answers give me headaches with all that's going on so please someone help me!
I am FS, having unlocked 20 trees and am waiting for Phase 4 (Nov 8th I thought) to roll around so I can unlock my 21st tree and complete grind to unlock Jedi (and start the REAL grind!).
Anyway...what does CU2 mean to me, for that matter all of the FS ppl who worked hard to get it? Did all that grinding mean anything? What's gonna happen to those trees? Do we even have to grind FS anymore or do village quests?
Also, does that mean we are gonna have a whole lot more Jedi running around? Will they all be competing for the same Pearls & Crystals as other Jedi, making them even more scarce or causing an AFK macro madness to loot these things?!?!
What about the free unlocks that Jedi are given? I already had an idea what my ALT was gonna do for a living...be a BioEng/Merchant.
I am soo confused, can someone please help me better understand what is happeneing?

It is essential that you make that last FS box and then open your first Jedi box. If you do not, you will not only NOT be able to enjoy the full respecs to L80 professions but you will also NOT be considered a Jedi and thus able to claim the Jedi Elder pay-offs.

As the NGE is supposed to be going live on the 15th of Nov i would continues grinding so that u have the XP u need once the final phase u need comes round. That will leave you roughly 6 days to get the old man, kill Mallechie, and complete your Padawan trials. Its tightm but do able.

If you can make Jedi b4 the NGE goes lives you will have a Jedi character, if you don't I think you will be in the same positions as all the other ppl in the "new" FS profession. (Altho when they changed the Jedi quest system at Publish6 they took into account ppls progress through the Hologrinning system, which allowed free unlocks). They have said in the FAQ that there will be no Village Post-NGE, but ppl will still have to grind/quest to make Jedi.

If you still have to grind/quest to unlock Jedi there is no reason for the Jedi popluation to balloon. As for the AFK'ing, as far as I know there are no good AFK grind points, but who is to say Post-NGE. They may even remove the ability to do spin groups...

If you can make Jedi b4 the Live date you should still be able to create ur Alt character, but in the NGE there will be no BE. Merchant will be build into Trader, but no-one know what that will be like until it on the Test Centre.

You no longer need to unlock Jedi. Jediwill be one of thestarting professions after NGE goes life.

So then what's the use of me grinding?! I mean...I have spent 7 months trying to grind & unlock Jedi. I have a R/L and can't spend 12 hours a day doing a grind and reading forum hints/spoilers/walkthroughs on how to unlock & get glowy - I've been working on it with some "Elders" who didn't give that knowledge for free.
What will happen to my FS boxes? *poof* they just go away and I am stuck with a Jedi starting profession?!
I am sorry if I am ranting, but darn it I worked hard for this...I didn't cheat...I will be right at the level as someone who just started and did nothing to work on it.
