Read Tigg's faq in the NGE General Discussion Forum.
The FRS is not coming back. All the stuff about "it's still being discussed. blah blah blah." Has been a lie.
It just isn't coming back, so educate your friends. so we don't have to fill the Jedi forums with pointless (when the frs comes backk..) threads.

In so far as it's been described so far, everything apart from ranged combat is "dead"....the FRS is the last of our worries

Good riddance to the FRS. It was a pretty jacked up, anyway, back when it was in live.

don't need jedi content anymore anyway since we're the same as every other prof now.

I'm actually more excited about the game than I have been in a long time, and I started at launch. Give it a shot. Or don't, I don't think anyone cares much. But littering the forums with chicken little does no one any good.

How so? You have it set in your mind that Commandos and Smugglers and BHs have always used ranged weapons so they always will right? All those proffesions have the ability to use melee.....

It won't matter anymore. Jedi are no longer a stand-out profession above everyone else. While it would've been really cool it just doesn't fit in with the new system. If they put out an FRS then EVERYONE would be Jedi in the new system. Hopefully they vastly improve the GCW and give chances to advance through something fun like that. Just imagine being THE Imperial Inquisitor on your particular server rather than High Sith Councilor (or whatever it used to be for FRS).

/agreed. If nothing else I look forward to not seeing the class be filled up with PVP Types. My post wasn't meant to bash or be rude or rub anyone's nose in the FRS being dead. It was simply to educate people so we can stop seeing the pointless posts about an FRS that isn't coming back. hehe.

bet you guys that since the frs wont come back, theyll introduce some new pvp rank thingy for jedi only.
