Thread: Idk why the devs dont insert this into the visability system

Ms-nhil has his post up about the vis system, and how all of the games content involves npc's, so for a non-pvper, you get the shaft. This could solve all that

The devs should fine tune the visability system to where if an npc see's you wielding a saber/using force powers etc, a timer goes off (lets say 2 minutes) you have to kill the npc that has discovered your knowledge of the force in the alloted time period. If you eliminate the npc that see's you, no terminal entry for you if not, well ...Bh's come in same-day delivery with 4 easy payments of 200,000jedi experienceWould this not make sense? I mean, honestly how can a person report you to the terminals in a split second? Dont you think it would take some time to report a jedi ? With this idea, jedi would have a fighting chance to not become hunted. This might upset the BH's but who cares really? theyve had all the upper hands in this game and it should be the jedi's turn.

Now, for player characters, i feel that player characters have the option to report you, like /report or it will be an option on the radial. They will only have the option if they are in the 32m area( of you using force powers etc)or whatever it is now adays. If they choose to "report" you, you get the same option as you do with npc's. A little message will appear on the jedi's screen saying who is trying to report you. They turn red and EVERY JEDI IN THE AREA can have at them, and do with them as you please. Jedi are supposed to stick up for each other, and this will preventa single person from camping you. There are strength in numbers.

If you kill them, they lose pvp rating, and you keep your exp and immunity from future hunting for the time being, no visibility will be given out.

This will make it so a random nublet amusing himself on his brand new shinyx-34 speeder wandering out in the middle of no where wontstand chance to give you visability and effect the progress of your jedi.

This add-on will give the jedi a fighting chance for his future and hopefully prevent future whining posts lol jk

I totally agree but would like to add something, If a player see's you. You become tef to each other if he comes in contact with a major city you are on terms. You have to kill him before he ever makes it to this city, if you can... now tht will put some fun back in the game

cool idea but there needs to be restrictions like you have to be outside a city, on a mission from a terminal, and after he watches for two minutes he gets teffed. at least that way the griefers will have consequences. for all who flame, the jedi has the option to attack first...if you dont then the bh will sit there just to get teffed. and what if there is a group of bh?

jedi are honourable. When obi-wan pulled his saber in the cantina to defend luke, did he proceed to kill every other person so they wouldnt report him?

It really should be only NPCs that give you visibility. Players grief visibility, NPCs don't. If an NPC is in the area, you can kill it and go about your grind. If a Player does it, you have to leave the area/planet. There was another post where a guy used an example of Vader grinding Jedi XP. If some noob came up and messed with him, would he leave the planet or axe the noob?

We can't force PvP on noobs, so why can they force PvP from a BH on us? And don't give me the "you knew you'd have PvP when you went Jedi" arguement. When I went Jedi you could grind solo and do several thousand damage in PvE. I have no problem with being on the terms, it is the process of getting on the terms and its ability to be abused that I have a problem with.

Its not forcing pvp on the noob, if the noob decides to /report you, he knows what he's doin, therefore rip his guts out.

Easy answer, the devs don't really care, and they don't like you.

I wasn't saying can't as in we shouldn't, just that we can't as in no way to do it currently. If they TEF system was implemented, you know there would be people that would duel next to an AFK merchant just to get the TEF and shut them up. Probably better if we keep it that the only forced PvP is from a BH terminal, but not allow a player to deliberately put you on the terms, by following you around as a noob or by cloaking and following.

Guess everyone is a Dark Jedi at heart

So many stupid people are still alive because it is illegal to kill them.
Anyone who says, "Trust Me" can not be trusted.
It is not what you are killing but what you are allowing to live.
