a freind just tuned a GOOD pearl we looted yesterday for 114dam -.11 spd and -6 fc

lol only took about 50 tunes to git one like that

but it did tune better then one the prems they had in there saber

The force cost is still prettty high.

FC may be high for the pre-cu jedi but that is a hell of a tune for a post cu pearl/crystal gratz man

I am glad your friend got a decent tune but accepting mediocrity as excellence is a major part of the problem. When BH loot +184 damage -0.76 speed -6 Action weapon drops off of simple BH marks, the 110 Damage -.11 speed -6 FC krayt pearl is BS.

Botthom line, don't be happy with this crap they devs are giving you. The MBH/MCM is now the new jedi

nice tune, that gives me some hope then. i tunedmy firstgood rated pearl last night for a whoping 36 min/max, 4 fc, -.24 speed, and the rest 0's and needless to say was way disappointed.

I can't argue with the point your making about the mediocrity of crystals/pearls, but the fact of the matter is many of the old school jedi with perfect sabers are having trouble with high end med stacker templates. It's not just the pearl/crystals it's much more then that...everything comes into balance eventually, everything

The best tune I got post-cu is 101/-8 and I'm NOT complaining lol.

I've tuned well over 140+ crystals/pearls now (all post-cu) and now my saber is 669 max dmg with a speed of 1.5.

Post CU success is the same as pre-cu. You have to put enough into your profession tobe able to get something back.

If armorsmiths want to craft common or average armor then they don't invest (time/money) into skill tapes and craft endless schematics for the absolute best results possible.

Don't get discouraged guys. Those sabers are gonna get to where they need to be just by you rolling the dice.

Yup it is borked for sure. I tuned 99 pearls/crystals on monday. Best tune was 100 -3, next best was 99 -6. You should not have to tune 50 pearls to get one like the OP stated.
