My proposed final template will be MLS, ENH 3402, Healer 4000 and two lines of Defender. I already have Aura, so what is the best other tree to get?

Oh, and is this a good template?

4xxx def FTW!!! cause its more melee def and its better for you in pve and pvp vs other melee professions and the x4xx is useless and xxx4 is only good vs ranged people.

4440 Def gives (I think) just 6 less inate Jedi armour than Force armour from x4xx Enh. It's free from force cost also. If the way defence is calculated remains the same as it is now then all you get from x4xx Def is increased inate armour which is worth it in itself IMHO. If they make changes to the way Def works (this is SOE afterall) then you will also enjoy the increased ranged defence.
