Wait till people realize that the thread with all the pub 24 complaints got deleted (or moved to a hidden forum).

That thread was made by garva to funnel most of the negative posts to there...I am not suprised that it was finnally removed...

Most people in that thread were complaining about their feedback being ignored. Ignoring customers complaining about being ignored (which is the message sent by deleting that thread) is business suicide.
Aside from that, by that reasoning, Smeds CU post should have been deleted, also, but it is still around.
I dont believe the plan was to funnel the negative posts to that thread, by the way - it was just an attempt to tell people to stop posting so the mods didnt need to delete more threads. That the thread ended up with almost as much negative replies as Smeds CU thread in a fraction of the time was not anticipated nor wanted by anybody at SOE.

you may call it what you want...but it diverted many negative posts into one thread thus bringing a little order back to the board...are you not suprised it was deleted?...I am suprised it lasted as long as it did....

We can complain, but just go about it in a mature manner. We have the right to voice our opinions, but to do so without any maturity will not improve the situation at all.
This ain't Burger King
You can't have everything your way here. So deal with it.
Edit: I meant this towards those who have brought about negative attention to our profession.

As I said, deleting that thread in which customers complained about being ignored is surprising for me, because that action implies that SOE does not care about the customers feeling ignored. It is pretty much sending the message "We wont talk about the problems you have with us, either you shut up and pay your fees or you leave us alone and go somewhere else". Not a smart way to keep customers or get new ones.

It's really useless to complain. No matter what we say, SOE will do as they please. It is better to make suggestions how to better our race instead of complaining. But yeah,

LOL...silly rabbit.
The silence is the silence of apathy and death.
There are five stages of dying:
1. Denial
2. Anger
3. Bargaining
4. Depression
5. Acceptance.
The most vocal saw their game dying and went through those stages...you can see examples of each in all those posts.
And now...depression or acceptance...but most have accepted the game for what it has become.
That news about Japan...not sure if it is real or not...but as the veterans leave, it has the same effect on the community.
The newer players will be glad to see the vets leave. As they also leave, another generation will watch them go without mourning. And so on. That is the nature of this game, as its star slowly burns out. The game will end not with a bang but a wimper.
I may stick around just to watch the death throes...with the smallest hope that someone new steps in to make it better. But, too much has already been lost for it to matter much.
