However, if you would have just said "Hey! We're working on something big!", maybe alot of heartache and negative posts could have been spared.

Obviously, although maybe we shouldn't, alot of us take this game very seriously. To the point where when the experience falters, it makes many of us emotional. I think what we need to realize here is that although it is just a game, this game means alot more to people than just the 1 and 0's lining up.

Me personally, whenever I hear the background music while Im loading in, it reminds me of the first time I ever saw Tatooine in the movie and how the experience of seeing the movie at 7 made me feel. Although I am by far one of the more level headed players here, this game means more than sitting at the pc for hours on end to explore content. It constantly reminds me of my first experience with Star Wars. It's why I continue to pay for the experience.

So that being said, it's quite interesting to see where this new upgrade is going to go. And what you're donig with Jedi is going to be very interesting. I think SOE has planned to grow the customer base significantly with these moves. To me, although that means there will be more Jedi, it also means that there will be more people to play with and maybe some of my friends will come back.

I am hoping that there is a worthwhile difference for the veteran jedi. I think someone at SOE said "you'd better make sure those who are here still feel special!" lol. But whatever the case may be, I will wait and see. And I will judge fairly. That's the best I can do.
