i played all the xcom games until the space-based one came out....it stunk

I Have all the X-com games that came out, except for the starfighter one. I also Have UFO: Aftermath.

Aftermath is quite similar in the game mechanics to X-Com, but they are not the same game, at all.

They are both very cool, and X-Com was probably the most awesome game ever, even if it was in 4 bit graphics.

Aftermath was really cool on its own right, although a bit more twisted and gory, but still very very cool. Aftermath was also much easier to conquer than X-com series, whice left me a bit disappointed. I really have high hopes for Aftershock though, it should be awesome.

(And you wont have Jedi as a atart up profession...)
