Thread: Force Ranking System-The Big Effect?

Now, i know im the best post-cu jedi on Bria after beating the last champion and can beat most of the pre-cu besides the ones with pre-cu crafted sabers which cannot be reached by post-cu materials. Even with all this power behind me and obviously being a jedi i expect this power ,but i find myself being out lasted by swordsman/doc templates all the time......
Now these are people who spent what....a day grinding there template? and i spent months perfecting my toon going through force sensitive and then jedi and THEN perfecting my saber to the best i could. With all this time and preperation these people who have minor experience with there template just seem to outlast my force bar until im force to stand and die.
Ok now for mybiggest concern: The Force Ranking System
Personally i have not really heard much about the new system and how much it is going to effect the jedi that will be involved ,ive just been thinking how much of a boost will the FRS give to the jedi .I understand it will depend on the jedi's FRS rank on how much of a boost they get but this will be no problem for me to reach. But is it all going to be worth it? If its just going to give us a few extra force power /regen etc etc then thats not really gona help me when a swordsman/doc is standing there absorbing all my damage and healing at every possible moment witha "no drop" mind.
What i would like to see is more defences /damage increases and the robes doing a lot more for us, i would be happy with some serious jedi inate armour just so i could attaempt at beating this swordman template.
Also the new Expansion the trials of Obi-wan
With mustafar coming into play and with a expansion title like that there must be some improvements for jedi within the expansion (if anyone knows anything post here and let me know). One thing i dont want is this to be another lame quest planet with lame rewards at the end.

The back of my head keeps telling me these changes are all a part of a master plan. The FRS may reduce action/mind costs, make you resistant to snares/roots etc. Point is we dont know. If the devs came out and said, we are nerfing this because the FRS will eventually make you more powerful in this way, yadda yadda yadd, it might have a positive effect on the community.

From what i've seen in the little bit of testing i've done is just a few mod clothing that jedi can wear. Nothing that can drastically make a difference. NO FRS, NO real robes, and i dont think any real fixed to the jedi bugs. I hope im wrong...I wait for the FRS with little patience.

well i'd hate to think how many jedi are gona leave if this new FRS sucks ,including me.
Rumour is the force ranking system is going to be PvP based jedi vs jedi. Well no problem with that except Jedi are seriously unbalanced, but also brings up the problem that if the only way to get equal to a elite combat profession is to be part of it and Im imagining gain some rank. The leave the majority of the already worse Jedi on the server as remain the worst while those with 700dps sabers are just going to get more powerful.
How does bringing in the force ranking system help the pre CU jedi population?
