Tkm is 6000 innate armor. defender is 7000 innate. Both have COB/Aura but tkm has offenses mixed into the tree.
You want none jedi defenses take tkm, its aloteasier and that extra 1k innate armordefender has can be easily compensated for.
Better yet take tkm with 0200/0400 enhancer and max your innate 
. Just guessing I think this would put your innate at 10000. The max I believe, although I also heard 9k is the max to :/

yea but Valor also comes with master defender. Also, tka has no real moves anyway.

I would have taken some Power's for Cloak if me was you in that way of thinking! But yea if you got SwordsMan you only want Defense soo get Master Defender... or Force Armor, and Cloak, or all in all... what do I know?

Would Valor even work? I though it only applied if a saber was equipped.

i believe that is being put into effect in the next patch or 2.

u get lower max power, its that a problem?, i mean, if u are swordman or TKa u dont use Force on attacks like saber does, i was thinking of getting aTka and master powers, and some defnder or enhance, i hear lots love it....
