A whole new company should be formed in the original combat system. No force sensitive village. No way, old school unlocking rules baby. professions. When the game is released it could be called "original SWG". Justa few servers, nothing too crazy. Have a whole new team of devs running the show. They can charge almost anything reasonable a month as far as I am concerned. Those investors would be rolling in dough. It would be silly. The only problem is, the "official version" of SWG would surely go under due to everyone going to a much more in-depth and real Star Wars game like it started out.

If I had a couple million to throw around, and had a couple of banks to back me, I would surely make the proposal to Sony. My lady graduated from Yale with a business finance degree. Between the two of us I am sure some kind of respectable business prospectus could be made to pitch at financial institutions and SOE alike.

I wonder what the buyout would be if said product was for sale? Any guesses? I would say in the10-15 million range. That is what it is worth I think.

I have no idea how LucasArts is affiliated with SOE. LucasArts seems to be the party who "ok'd" the whole SWG project. These past couple of days are the first time I have ever heard of LucasArts commenting or "taking over" anything.I would think that both company's are seperate but, both have an equal or near eqaul hand in the say of the game.

As far as Lucas having any ownership to SOE's code. I would say yes due to actions taken in the past few days. If someone would have asked me a few months ago, I would of course have said no way.
