I thought Battles were supposed to be shorter and funner after the CU.

As i seen the battle build up was ment to be shorter, the way i seen it nerfing buffs and making it so you can just clone and then go special forces you would be ready without having to grab a buff from the doctor and balance professions so there wasnt any 90% armor etc.

No problems here

I had a 24 minute battle against a BH 2 days ago which ended in my runing. the BH was cool aboutit.

but I didn't have any problem with the attack.

The purpose of the CU was to make Combat Shorter and more engaging. Imagine Pre-CU you would still be fighting to this moment with no winner

Ya ya - This isn't a question about "how cool the dude was". Most of the BH's we've been coming across are cool dudes...

This is a question about game mechanics...

I think duels should last between 5-10 minutes tops...

Lightsabers cut through blast doors...

Well you wanted an answer. You must be a bit upset that they last a long time.

I was just trying to answer your question.

Again, I have no problem with the attack. If they last that long then they last that long.

I has a 1 vs 1 duel with my MBH character vs a TKM/Swords/4000 doc the other day that lasted 30 mins..only reason it ended was that I ran out of stims (only way to heal when KDed). The CU has done nothing to curb the long duels..but has made us more frustrated and mad out keyboards and mice take more punishment....maybe they have a deal working with Microsoft or Logitec...a new theory, perhaps?

Those are kind of stupid examples, and not really fights. By your same logic we could say Jango v Coleman Trebor as 'proof' that a BH should be able to take down a mark in 5secs?Obviously not, that wasnt a real fight.The best example would probably be Jango v Obi-Wan.

I was going to say, Jango vs. Obiwan was more of a fight. It lasted for a few minutes, and really, Jango kinda won that one. I suppose.
