I tried looking in the faq's and a search but have been unable to find anything that states the range that you can apply stasis.
Any assistance is appreciated.

The range of Stasis is the same for most all Jedi rangeforce style attacks which is 32 meters. Also, all range force style attacks (Force Sap, Shock, Stasis, Wave, Suppression) much like all Force Powers attacks are checked against Jedi innate armor in addition to Force Defenses when attacking another Jedi. The success rate is different on each with some retaining an 80% success rate (Force Suppression for example) even on Master Defenders where as some are more affected by the defenses such as Choke and Stasis.

Cheers for the reply, now to decide if dropping xx44 defender for master enhancer is suitable to my play style.

If your into a crowd control and some speed damage not so much tanker then yes, but remember your Defense is based on your force amount not as much stats of Defense.
(If you have a high damage saber then you would be fine in most cases)..
If you have a 500 damage one then no)... save that respec or somthing...

Hmm, another interesting point. I think the max damage on my saber is around 540, then there is the near 200 elemental damage from the banes heart crystal.
Is this still too low for a master saber, master enhancer template in your opinion?
My main use is for pve, mainly in a group with the occasional solo krayt hunt.

my advice as a MLS/Menhancer template myself, is stick to what you have if you like to do alot of pve and solo stuff, especially with a weaker saber like yours
don't get me wrong, i have a lot of fun and love master enhancer, however i also have a 698 max dmg saber too
even with a 540 dmg you could probably still make it viable in pve, but you would have to understand and accept that you would be a support template...i.e., rooting, snaring, healing(if you have some healer) more than dealing out damage

stasis only works about 50% of the time now.
Its very resistable by mobs and Players alike.
