Why do you log out each time you have to go afk for a while? Or even maybe a longer time? Well there is the possibility that we can annoy BHs but mainly being afk is just being afk.

I don't do it to annoy you. Sometimes I am inside decorating my home. Sometimes I go in there because I have to go piss in real life and it's safer than being out in the open. Sometimes I go there because my wife needs me to do something and I don't want to log off and relog on.

Only once have I ever logged in and just sat there to see who shows up. I was really bored that day and I was chatting in guildchat. one person did show up. had some excitement then.

Only three days!

Anyways, not to flame and thought to share some insight:

Players own the right to play at their convienence. They are capable of logging in at their own dispossal. This means that if server permitting they can stay logged in as they wish.

Are you suggesting that once a player unlocks Jedi they should never be allowed to go "afk" in a private structure? Does this mean that the Weaponsmith who made all your weapons then gained viz through an equip/bug the first day of unlock should not be able to continue crafting weapons while in a house?

Think about your post. I can login and stay logged till the servers go offline and remove BH content. Do I choose to do so? Well, I've done it when I would get grieved and yes, I agree that it's working fine. The problem is showing how there's issues relating to enforemencet of PvP content.

I don't know about you, but sometimes I HAVE to go afk. Phone call, bathroom, trip to the fridge, I am a guild officer so sometimes I spend a lot of time on our guild message board..

So, speaking for me, no, I don't do anything to deliberately annoy anyone. But if a Bounty Hunter comes for me, and I notice him, I will ALWAYS come out and fight. I am to the stage where I really like the PvP.

If I go afk, that means I don't have to go through logging back into the game. If I could, I'd just drop out to the character selection screen most of the time to get right back in, but after 5min or so there, you have to relog completely.

I also sometimes do it to have a log of guild chat, because I'm one of the three guild leaders of one of the largest guilds on my server.

Sometimes, I just do it to go walk my dog. Or watch TV. Or answer the door, and it's my buddy, and we end up out at the bars all night. I'll even leave my guy on so that Imps think I'm out taking their bases. Sometimes I'll leave him grouped with someone so they can get more mobs at their missions. Any number of reasons.

I do it on my BH too, just depends what character I was playing at the time. But I don't do it to annoy anyone on purpose. And to be honest, I know a lot of Jedi believe that visibility goes away quicker when your character is in game. No idea whether it's true or not, nor do I care. But I know a few who do it for that reason alone.

And I know other Jedi will do it so that when you find their mission, you don't even bother, because they are probably just AFK again...

Us Jedi have to make our own weapons, and that takes a lot of time. The last 2 times I made light sabers, I got a 3 hour inspiration buff, and started crafting. I crafted the complete duration of my buff, both times, experimenting, failing to get amazings, waiting for my stomach to empty so I can eat more pyro cake and drink more bespin port, trying different resources. It takes time, and most of us are not so bored as to find satisfaction in making a BH wait outside for a kill.

I stopped reading here, if you want an adult conversation then you need to learn to word your questions in a more mature manner.

Sometimes because we don't want to fight right then. As others say, we might be doing something else. -omg-

Sometimes we are not ready to fight. Lack of food, whatever...it happens.

And yes, sometimes to annoy you. BH keep tabs on Jedi...the easy ones, the hard ones, the runners, the whiners. Well, some Jedi do the same about BH. A griefing, smack-talking, exploiting, pita player is not going to get the satisfaction of a fight.

Remember, when you don't get paid, we win. As a famous BH on our server says....by any means possible.

Nope. But you have to understand that even my jedi have work in his house now and then. Crafting new lightsabers can take hours for example! And decorations! Being in a House is also the only safe place if you have to go AFK for a while. for example for dinner or for a short shopping trip. And sometimes, I just load up my jedi, sits in the house and chat with the people in guildchat, while doing nothing!

There are lots of things I do in my houses. Sometimes when a BH hits around and ask me for coming out, I do so. Other thimes, not. Also, you have Bhs that just keep lurking on distance waiting for me to get out. lol. Im not trying to be mean here, but I play my toon the way I want to. If you the BHs feel we ruin the gameplay for you (as I know some thinks..) Im sorry, but what I do ingame is my business. As long as I dont break any rules set by SOE. And staying inside a house all day long is not breaking rules..

All I can tell you is 1.) wait and see 2.) cancell mission and carry on or 3.) choose another profession

It sounds harsh maybe, but theres not rule saying that the BHs should have a right for a fight with the jedi, just because they have picked his mission.

Also, most fulltemplate jedi will fight a BH for the fun. But many dont care either. There is nothing in it for them. No "reward", to actually take the fight! So, if a BH hits around, while they are in their house, they might choose to ignore you.
